This is the first time I have ever heard anything negative said about Pleasant Rowland. I do know that until someone walks in the same shoes in the same circumstances one shouldn't judge a person's reasons for doing things. Only Pleasnat Rowland really knows the underlying reason for her decision. I trust at the time knowing what she knew, she made a good one not only for herself but for the company and the children who love the American Girl dolls.
